Construction
These roto-molded polyethylene tanks are designed to 
provide exceptional strength and stress crack resistance. The tanks are durable, lightweight, easy to install and maintain. Most Vasstanks have molded in volume markers and convex bottom for improved drainage. The great majority of our Vasstanks have built in ribs around the cylindrical body for additional strength. These qualities make them the ideal alternative for your water needs and prolonged outdoor exposure. They are manufactured as a one-piece construction providing structural stability and leak resistance, while insulating the water from the elements found in the external environment.Materials
Vasstanks are manufactured from linear low density polyethylene that meets Food and Drug Administration (FDA) standards. Polyethylene is non-corrosive nor does it bleach from long environmental exposure. Vasstanks are resistant t
o most commonly used chemicals at room temperature and under standard household conditions, providing an excellent product for long term use. Vasstanks are made with ultraviolet inhibitors for resistance to sunlight and have the appropriate opaqueness to reduce algae growth. Vasstanks should not be used to store gasoline, oil or other flammable hydrocarbons.Fittings
Vasstanks come equipped with a 1" - 1 ¼ " Female Pipe Thread (FPT) raised polyethylene outlet fitting in a recessed area at the bottom of the tank and a 1" FPT raised polyethylene inlet fitting on the top sidewall. A 5/8" opening is also included at the top recessed sidewall for float valve installation.

Vasstanks come equipped with a 14" and 26" threaded top cap opening depending on the model.
