The average water use in the United States is well over 500 billion gallons per day. It is estimated that 80% of this daily usage is returned to surface streams and groundwater supplies - most of it through drainage and sanitary sewer systems after treatment.. Because of the widespread problem of corrosion of non PVC pipe, and failures in older sanitary sewer lines, design engineers now choose materials based on their resistance to corrosion, quality, dependability of joints, and stability of installation. PVC has been the material of choice by design engineers for water applications and sanitary sewer systems throughout the world for the past 20 years.
In addition, Vassallo's PVC is non-sparking, and is not subject to galvanic or electrolytic action, even when metals are present. Since our PVC fittings have exceptionally smooth interior surfaces, there is very little fluid head loss. This page provides technical engineering data for Vassallo's ASTM D-3034, ASTM F-679 Non Pressure SDR-35 and SDR-26 Sewer fittings, in addition to our SCH-40 Drainage Fittings. Vassallo produces the industry's most complete line of SDR-35 gaskets (4" to 27"), solvent weld (4" to 15"), gasket SDR-26 (4" to 15") and Scheduie-40 Drainage fittings. Distribution of Vassallo fittings in the United States and Canada is made through a central warehouse located in LakeWales, FL, and other regional warehouses strategically located throughout the United States. Our world class, state-of-the-art-manufacturing facilities are located in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and Siloam Springs, Arkansas. |
